PVA is partnering with the Mendon Golf Club to host our first ever golf tournament in an effort to begin the process to raise funds to replace our fleet of stretchers.

Because PVA is not an “essential service” in NYS law, we are unlike our fire and police colleagues and have a limited ability to receive public tax dollars. Instead, we rely heavily on insurance reimbursements and generous donors to help fund our valuable mission. PVA answers nearly 5,000 9-1-1 calls each year – a figure more than double what it was a decade ago. That volume takes a toll on our durable equipment, and our three stretchers will soon exceed their useful life.
