Pittsford Volunteer Ambulance invites you to our annual Golf Tournament, a day of great golf with an even greater purpose: ensuring our community has access to the most advanced, lifesaving care when every second counts.

Every time our crews respond — whether it’s a cardiac arrest, serious accident, or medical emergency — they rely on high-quality, up-to-date equipment to deliver critical care. As a nonprofit ambulance service, we depend on community support to fund these essential tools.

This year, proceeds from the tournament will directly support our capital needs, including replacing frontline clinical equipment like:

• Advanced cardiac monitors used in life-threatening emergencies
• Patient stretchers that ensure safe transport and provider safety
• Training equipment that keeps our clinicians prepared for the most critical situations

These aren’t optional upgrades — they’re the tools that make the difference between life and death.

Why It Matters

With the right equipment and training, our team of EMTs and Paramedics are able to deliver care that provides our patients with the best opportunity to make a full recovery. Our team has earned recognition from the American Heart Association for our treatment of stroke and cardiac patients every year for the last 8 years. Our clinical outcomes in cardiac arrest also speak for themselves, with patients who suffer sudden out-of-hospital cardiac arrest being discharged with minimal impact on their lives more than 5% the national average (source: 2024 CARES Survival Report). Outcomes like this don’t happen by chance. They happen because our community invests in readiness.
