Always call 911 in an emergency

Skilled hands. Cool heads. Caring hearts.

Junior Member Program

A program for 15-18 year-olds who wish to explore career opportunities in the medical field.

Reach Your Full Potential

The Junior Member program is based on the values of personal growth and leadership development. Specifically, it offers career-focused programs that offer an opportunity for hands-on learning and mentorship.

The Junior Member program is one way that PVA is able to connect with and serve the community beyond providing emergency medical and ambulance services.

Areas of Emphasis

  1. Career Opportunities – learn real world career skills, facilitated by caring professionals that provide information about emergency medical services and other related medical career opportunities
  2. Leadership Opportunities – become part of the Program leadership, elected by Program members
  3. Life Skills – learn effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving and conflict resolution; gain knowledge of basic medical procedures, life-saving skills, and how to react in an emergency; PVA also provides free CPR/AED and First Aid training to Program members
  4. Citizenship – provide critical and rewarding service to your community
  5. Character Development – develop a professional work attitude and gain experience in making ethical decisions
